Our Laborers use hand tools like shovels, picks, rakes, and sledge hammers, as well as small equipment like chop saws, tampers, jack hammers, and air compressors. Over time, they become experts in installing all of our pipes and fittings, building brick and concrete structures, operating grade lasers, and reading blueprints.
Operators have demonstrated proficiency in operating and maintaining Compact Excavators and Backhoe Loaders. Advanced Operators have demonstrated additional proficiency in operating Crawler Excavators and Crawler Dozers. All of our Operators, as needed, perform the duties of Laborers and work daily with all of our hand tools and small equipment.
Superintendents have extensive experience managing projects and personnel. They develop work plans, create budgets and schedules, monitor and control material costs, meet daily production goals, maintain safe work environments, and ensure that all project activity adheres to customer expectations and NWCS standards of quality.
Our Drivers have a current Class A CDL, HazMat Endorsement, and Med Card. They have verifiable work histories, a clean MVR, and are familiar with the Tri-State area. Drivers also have demonstrated Lowboy and Dumptruck experience. Most importantly, like everyone at Northwest, our drivers have a willingness to learn and to contribute in any way possible to the success of the team.
